Mission including history


Now in its fourth and largest edition, TimeCrafters is the most important and extensive luxury watch show for consumers in America that showcases the quality of craftsmanship amongst the most respected and iconic brands of the horlogerie industry. The show will gather watch collectors and enthusiasts to share their passion and stories through education and viewing of the latest collections.

TimeCrafters’ mission is to give US watch enthusiasts an opportunity to continue learning about the craftsmanship of the best timepieces through the only large-scale public watch exhibit in the United States. Consistently delivering decade after decade of distinguished timepieces, the exhibit is a chance for consumers to preview brands’ new collections and engage with their representatives.

2:00pm Engineering & Technical Design

International Watch hosts a walking tour of the watch companies at TimeCrafters. Special emphasis will be given to showing visitors new or unusual technical advances in watchmaking technique. Expect a tour of approximately thirty to forty minutes with stops dedicated to uncovering new chronographs, repeaters, tourbillons, dive watches, GMT timers, world timers and more. Visitors can speak to representatives at each exhibiting watchmaker to learn more about horological techniques specific to that company.

3:00pm Craftmanship & Artistry

International Watch hosts a walking tour of the watch companies at TimeCrafters. With so many of the assembled watchmakers offering artistically conceived and rendered dials and cases, each has its own story to tell about how it creates examples of limited-edition guilloche, enamel or even porcelain dials using centuries-old techniques. Many of the watchmakers at TimeCrafters have also developed their own artisanal techniques that add to the rarity, value and beauty of the firm's collection. Questions are encouraged.
