Spirit of winning As a tribute to the 12 Hours of Sebring Challenge in 1963, Baume & Mercier released two limited edition Capeland Shelby® Cobra chronographs. 1,963 of each watch were produced, a quantity which commemorates the year of competition.
The black and yellow design was inspired by the sleek Cobra 289 racecar that led the Shelby® team to victory. With subtle horizontal racing stripes on the dial, and the Cobra logo as the seconds hand, no detail goes unappreciated.
The final details are in the strap. One style features a black alligator strap with a rubberized yellow lining, and the second, a sportier vulcanized rubber strap- the same material as the wheels of the racecar.
The watches embody the sheer power and legendary performance of the Cobra 289.
